The virtual Supply Chain replica can consist of hundreds of assets, warehouses, logistics and material flows, as well as inventory positions. The digital Twin not only emulates the Supply Chain’s performance, which includes the same level of complexity that drives value loss and risks. It also transforms Supply Chain actual performance into financial terms.

AMBU A/S win the Danish Supply Chain Prize 2016. PERITO’s Demand Planning Tool and” Planning as a Service” are used by AMBU. The “Planning as a Service” from PERITO means that AMBU’s planners do not need to add data science knowledge to their long list of required skills. Based on PERITO’s “Planning as a Service” AMBU have empowered planners to spend much more time adding business insight.

FIRST MOVER ON INNOVATIVE STOCK CONTROLLING
PERITO are continuously pushing the limits of what is feasible when it comes to developing innovative ways and solutions for industries in which Supply Chain performance is essential. In 2015 PERITO – as the first in the Supply Chain Software market – introduce a Module built for controlling planning behavior and ensuring that planning becomes data-driven to the widest extent possible. Planning psychology is combined with data. However, numerous studies have shown that planning is heavily influenced by human psychology and inventory management is no exception. Based on extensive experience we have seen that up to 50% of inventory potentials are linked to psychological factors.

DEVELOPMENT OF ECONOMIC STOCK OPTIMIZATION
PERITO‘s Economic Stock Optimization (ESO) approach is the world’s most advanced approach to optimize safety stocks based on a total cost calculation. Our ESO is going beyond the traditional inventory approach where inventory levels are detached from optimization of profitability as it breaks down all costs related to carrying inventory and provides full transparency of all savings related to wrong safety stocks. Constraints such as varying lead times, physical space requirements, working capital, lost sales and stock-out penalties are all included in the calculation. In 2014 McKinsey has recognized PERITO’s ESO Software Module as “best of breed” in a Global IT Vendor selection for one of the biggest Pharmaceutical companies in the world.
